Had a wonderful experience with Pro Motion Online.
The person who created my website 7 years ago is no longer in business so Gina stepped up and made necessary updates to my site and was absolutely delightful and easy to work with in making lots of improvements that I hadn’t even thought of.
Gina, what would I ever do without you?
We would like to say what a wonderful and professional job that Gina did on our new Body Shop website.
It turned out better than we ever expected. We love it.
We highly recommend Gina for any website work that you may need. There is no one like her. She really knows her stuff.
So thankful for all she has done to help us build our business site.
I would like to to take this time to say what a great job Gina has done on my website.
It is beautiful and more accessible than my old sight.
I love it.
Thank you Gina!!!
Thank you for making our EmpTea Bowls ticket processing more seamless!
Gina, you have helped us so very much by creating this website and allowing us the opportunity to have a payment gateway for our fundraising activities.
The eternal has been met each time I have been present with you and you have been present with me. God is palpably in our midst.
You are talented and artistic, personal and practical in your approach to supporting each client.
You coax out the best in us and give us the confidence to share our unique gift with this world.
Thank you for seeing the seed of potential in me and cultivating it carefully, consistently, until miraculously, we have a beautiful, life-giving website.
Anyone would be richly blessed to work with you my friend.
We have been using Gina and Pro Motion to design, update, and maintain our website for many years. We have always been pleased by her work and am very happy that we have had her around all these years.
She has helped us with a payment gateway so that our clients can pay their invoices on-line as well as helped with updating the site over the years.
Our website is one of our company’s most important billboard in getting the word out. I field multiple call from prospects each month who found us because of our website. The prospects seem to always be impressed by our website. Gina does a great job of designing the website, maintaining it, keeping it secure, and making sure that it stays and looks up to date.

Creating my first website was a daunting thought to me, but Gina of PRO MOTION ONLINE, helped me feel confident that together we could make a great site. Her listening/communication skills and expertise combined to assure me that my website would reflect not only my art, but my personality as well.
She took the time to walk me through each phase to completion and exceeded my expectations with her knowledge, insight, and creativity.
Thank you so much for a wonderful job. These videos are an excellent communication tool.
Photoshop in the right hands (Gina’s) is a magical thing!
I am pleased to write a letter recommending Pro Motion Online as a website developer.Pro Motion designed my initial law firm website a few years ago and recently “remodeled” it to modernize the look, feel and user-friendliness of the site.
Gina MacFarland of Pro Motion developed a great design, was timely in the initial delivery as well as follow-up items I added. I wholeheartedly recommend Gina and Pro Motion Online and will use them again the next time when an update is needed.
Gina Palermo and Pro Motion Online are my go-to resource for almost anything I need designed – from websites to posters to postcards to logos.
As a performer, I know “branding” my music and myself is an important marketing element. Gina has helped me find the colors and styles that best represent me and my band, that “brand” me.
She is detailed, fairly priced, and always delivers on time.
Gina is a pleasure to work with.
She has great insight into our brand, gets our photography style and tone of voice and always follows brand guidelines, which is very important to me.
She delivers on time and on budget so there’s no surprises. She thinks creatively and is a good problem solver. I know I can call her at a moment’s notice with a new project and trust that she can get the job done and do it well.
She has a broad range of capabilities and experience with video, print, digital, etc.
You are the best thing that has happened to Cheshire Fitness Club in a very long time.
The blog is great and thank you for the web site updates! Note: This location has now been sold to the YMCA who continues to use some of my photography for their local communications.
Note: Cheshire Fitness Club is now owned by the YMCA
We hired Gina with Promotion Online to help us completely overhaul our website to include a WordPress platform and a fresh new look.
We couldn’t be more pleased with the final result. Gina set up the site structure, created initial pages and then trained us to create and design pages ourselves. She continues to be instrumental in helping us with maintenance and troubleshooting.
Gina always responds to questions quickly with informed answers and solutions. We love having the control that we want to change and create the site, but also love the security of having Promotion Online by our side whenever we need her. I highly recommend Promotion Online.
I love working with Gina. She is super sharp with an attention to detail that makes each end product as close to perfection as humanly possible. Her warm, laid-back personality makes projects like video and photo shoots feel calm and easy.
She has a wealth of experience and expertise in the field that she shares quite generously. I would recommend her for any and all promotional adventures.
Gina,
I have watched the first video of the series that you did for us and really look forward to watching more tonight. You have done a beautiful job.
I love the visual effects and the voice tones. You could be a professional interviewer/TV host anchor. You very gently insert clarifying words and information when needed. The flow is lovely. And, your manner gently guides the discussion into what Tom and Mike want to say. And, your pleasant humor lightens things up, increasing the viewer’s pleasure. This is so well done. It is fun to hear Tom’s history remembered in story form. I know the family will cherish this.
Very well done, my friend.
And, I think you look beautiful in this. Really.I also love how you have divided the You Tubes into “chapters”. This is truly like a video book.
Thank you for the untold hours you have put into this. And, your expertise and talent continue to amaze me.You are a gift.
Much love,
Martha
From a friend of Martha Tate’s about her new website: I read through your website.
WOW! I’m impressed. Specifically, it looks lovely. Love your choice of pictures especially the one for playing! It’s easy to follow and easy to read. It’s informative and friendly. If I had a problem, I’d come to you….oh, that’s right I did. Great job.
Saw the photos of your listing on Howland. WHAT A HOUSE!!!! great house!!! great photos.
The web site Gina McFarland designed for my professional practice exceeds my wildest imagination. It is beautiful, easy to navigate, clearly laid out and a pleasure to read.
Working with Gina was a delight in so many ways. Through Gina’s unique ability to read people, she engaged with me in a way that provided me the encouragement, inspiration, and guidance to complete the writing assignments for my web site. Her technical knowledge is impeccable, yet she found ways to communicate this information to me in user friendly language.
The combination of her technical skills, artistic creativity, and affable personality allowed for a wonderful working experience and an amazing product.
With great understanding of my goals, heart, soul, and profession, Gina created a web site that friends and colleagues say expresses me and my work completely and is pleasurable and easy to navigate. I have received rave reviews on Gina’s creation.
Gina,
Love what you’ve done with my website! I feel it really reflects me- professional yet not stuffy.
I often received compliments on how clear and crisp it looks and easy it is to navigate-just exactly what I wanted, considering many real estate websites are just the opposite.
I wanted it filled with information and making that happen and still user friendly wasn’t easy. Luckily, you understood exactly what I wanted and are able to keep me on-track- no easy feat!
Thanks!
My name is Stephanie Hayes and I’m part owner and Director of Operations for a fitness club in Black Mountain, NC. called Cheshire Fitness Club.
We have been in business ten years this coming March. We have had a web site since the day we opened our doors but it had become very obsolete and had absolutely no positive impact on our business. My partners and I decided we needed to invest in a brand new web site and were fortunate enough to find Gina. Working with her on this project was amazing.
Her number one goal was for us to feel comfortable with this process and to realize the importance of the quality of content. Since the completion of this project the exposure that our business is now experiencing is like nothing we had expected.
Our members love the new site and all of the new interest this wonderful web page is creating has helped the growth of our business.
Wow, where do we start?
Since you took over our marketing…we’ve gone from ho-hum to wow. We’ve started using video tours, professional photos for our listings and we even our own You-Tube videos.
And to top it all off- you completely overhauled our website…it’s so amazing we still can’t believe it’s us! Our business has really picked up and I’m sure much of it has to do with a more polished, professional image…
Thanks for everything…you’ve made us look GREAT!
About.
Gina Palermo MacFarland brings you experience from working over many years in Marketing, Graphic Design and Applied Arts. Her career is rooted in entrepreneurship and also working for large corporations which gives her insight into business issues from the ground up to large enterprise solutions.
“I’m just an all ’round creative. I see the world in a different light than many people and through God’s grace, I have many talents that inter-relate. I was blessed to grow up in a time when life was a bit more simple and witnessed many changes being put into our daily lives. I was also blessed to grow up with a parent who never said, you can’t, always encouraged and always helped me visualize pushing forward.”
Arts include: Graphic Design, Web Design, Photography, Video & Editing, One-Of-A-Kind Jewelry Design, Painting & Interior Design.
Marketing projects support for large and small business and creating all assets for them.
She holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts from the American Intercontinental University (formally The American College of the Applied Arts) in Atlanta, Georgia).
Her various working career positions include Costume Designer for the Southeastern Savoyards, a light opera company, and at the same time, Assistant to the Director of Northside School of the Performing Arts, Billy Densmore, which was the first magnet program with the Atlanta Board of Education. “We had 500 students and 10 divisions. Stanly Zompakos who was the Ballet Instructor of the school, who had danced with the famous George Balanchine in the NYC Ballet, encouraged me to start designing and making costumes by asking me to do the costumes for his school production of Midsummer Nights Dream and a corporate show that we did for IBM.” This is how I paid my way through college – by making costumes for the kids and young adults who had graduated. I did 45 shows in 5 years and had 95 women for which I designed and created custom clothing.”
Leaving the theatre world behind and never wanting to see a sewing machine again, she became the Office Manager for Taylor & Williams Architects. The lead architect Richard Taylor was President of the Atlanta American Institute of Architects, so Gina worked on various AIA projects including coordinating a tour for school children and Architects through the tower of the then newly built IBM building in Midtown, Atlanta. Gina stayed with T&W until the late 90’s recession took its toll on this wonderful family firm and working for them had been a nurturing and fun few years for her. Stepping into a quick one year roll prompted by the American Institute of Architects, she worked with the Project Coordinator for the RUDAT (Rural Urban Design Assistance Team) for the Atlanta Olympics with John Portman’s City Planner Director, Housh Farhadi. Our goal was to coordinate 12 city planners from around the country who were coming to Atlanta for a planning project to layout the Atlanta Olympics. The final report was presented to the Atlanta City Mayor.
After this project, for one year she was the Marketing Director for the Midtown Alliance (formally the Midtown Business Association) coordinating monthly luncheon events at the Atlanta Botanical Garden as well as large special events for more than 1500 people at various sites including Veni Vidi Vici Restaurant and the Occidental Grand Hotel (Now the 4 Seasons Hotel) in Midtown Atlanta. Gina helped to bolster the profile of the organization by assisting with large scale advertising through the Atlanta Journal and Constitution as well as interacting with the members of the organization who were all either CEO’s, Presidents or Marketing directors of Midtown organizations. “Midtown needed a lot of help in those years and there were still leftovers from the 1970’s hippie movement mostly housed in that area as well as strip clubs and drug activity. It was a very seedy area except for pockets of development. When the Olympics came to Atlanta this brought in a lot of change since Georgia Tech expanded to across I-85. We had already seen large towers being built like the AT&T and the IBM towers, which helped to bolster those areas near 10th Street and 14th Street.”
After this short time with the Midtown Alliance following her dream, she started a small company for that manufactured high-end gift items and sold through the Atlanta and NY Gift Marts in prestigious juried sections of these large wholesale shows. She ran this company as a sole proprietor, designing the hand crafted functional art items, manufacturing them in her barn and selling them to over 100 stores nationwide as well as Europe. The recession in 2000 and that fatal event in 2001 which changed our lives forever stopped this small business which had successfully run for 7 years.
She then became the Assistant to the Administrator of Thomas Eye Group doing various marketing projects, Interior Design projects, managing the IT for the then 9 Thomas Eye Group locations, and general office management work. After several years with TEG, she became the Creative Specialist with IHG Hotels and Resorts in their Atlanta Corporate office. Gina’s various projects with IHG included working on all of the then IHG brands including Crown Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, InterContinental Hotels, Hotel Indigo, Staybridge and Candlewood Suites. She created web based advertising assets including web banners, web landing pages, multi-use assets for hotel searches, video and photography projects, key internal programs for internal projects, working internationally to deflect the large costs of hiring large advertising and video vendors and to assist various internal marketing teams.
For the last 16 years Gina has brought her talents forward with her company ProMotion Online, working with clients marketing branding objectives and creating the assets including websites, shopping carts, print, email marketing through newsletters, photography, video and more. “I find out what a clients marketing needs are and then we set out to build the assets.”
